The Plane Ride

I board a plane from Orlando and soon, it's time to take off.
the weather is terrible, rain all over, dark skies, lightning all around and as we go higher and higher, the rain pours more and more...
The plane swings from side to side, and as many know am not a fun of planes floating from side to side...i love SAFETY. my natural judgement would have been to turn back and wait for the rains to die down. like i said, i love my life.
The higher the plane rises, the stronger the wind blows and soon we can barely see the outside. surrounded by a huge dark cloud, and at the risk of a lightning striking right there. and still this pilot aint doin anything.....by now i have definitely said a couple of prayers and closed my eyes...
BUT then... all goes calm. the rain stops and the plane settles. above all the rain and chaos down below, is the sun.... i have yet to see beauty beyond this..!! Yu should have seen me smiling, i think the guy next to me thought i was loosing it. nway thats besides the point...
.. back to the story...
i sat and thought the whole way through... sometimes our lives are like those planes, being tossed and turned from side to side not really knowing what will happen. from breakups, to lost jobs, from loosing you loved one, to jus aother lousy monday at the office or class. but what matters is what you do about it.you can decide to stay down and get rained on and scream at the world or you can kip pushing through. because on the other side is a bright sun, a cool breeze and its kinda fun to know that you made through, and watch the clouds below you....
Also.. the pilot is key, if i was in that cockpit, i dnt know what would have happened but do know one thing, Am glad i wasn't!!!. i gave my life to Christ. the journey may get bumpy but He knows that on the other side there is so much more so all i need to do is enjoy the ride. It may be bumpy and crazy and sometimes seem impossible but hey, at least He's there with you and will get you through.
